Paula Wilson Contemporary Self-Portraiture in Print July 16 to July 21, 2017 Tuition: $650 Workshop: 9am-12pm Discipline: Printmaking OPEN TO ALL On-site Housing Available

In celebration of the art of the memoir this course investigates identity and selfhood through the versatile art of printmaking. Utilizing a range of techniques such as monoprinting, stenciling, relief and xerox transfers we will examine how ‘the multiple’ can reflect and illuminate our sense of self. This class is open and ideal for both artists with limited printmaking experience and advanced printmakers. Through daily demonstrations, slide talks, and one-on-one and group discussions students develop an independent project that updates self-portraiture through a uniquely personal and materially contemporary medium.
