Molly Antopol Empower Your Fiction: A Writing Workshop July 15 to July 20, 2018 Tuition: $600 Workshop: 1-4pm Discipline: Fiction OPEN TO ALL On-site Housing Available

This workshop will help you develop your skills as a fiction writer: to hone your voice, and strengthen your command over such elements as tone, pacing, characterization, setting and plot. We’ll use writing exercises and short in-class readings to inspire new work, which you’ll share and receive feedback on from the group. You’ll leave Provincetown with a sharp and clear vision for your next piece.

Biography

Molly Antopol’s debut story collection, The UnAmericans, won a National Book Award Foundations “5 Under 35” Award, the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Fiction Award and France’s Translation Prize. The book was long-listed for the National Book Award, was finalist for many prizes and was published in seven countries. Antopol is also the recent recipient of the Berlin Prize, a Radcliffe Institute Fellowship at Harvard and a Wallace Stegner Fellowship at Stanford, where she has taught since 2008.
