Support the Work. Invest in the Process.
The Fine Arts Work Center champions new voices. We invest in some of the world’s most promising artists and writers, providing them with the resources to create work that matters. No other residency program in America offers seven months of solitude and community to advance new practices and ideas.
Shastri Akella, 2021-22 Fiction Fellow, reflected, “I found in the Fellows and staff a community that is deeply empathetic to my particular difference and holds space for it, and as an emerging artist and queer migrant of color I am grateful for it. I have not been this productive since my MFA years, and I have my FAWC community to thank for it.”
Together, we’ve built a community that shapes contemporary culture.
We invite you now to support what’s next. Your gift’s impact will be felt across the relaunch of our Fellowship Program, Summer Workshop Program, and free public programming following the challenges of the pandemic. Together, we can support emerging voices and invest in the creative process this new year.
