2023 Summer Workshops

Bert Yarborough Open Print August 5 to August 10, 2018 Tuition: $400 Workshop: 24 Hour Access Discipline: Printmaking INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED On-site Housing Available

During this week, the printshop and studio space will be available for experienced printers who have previously attended printmaking classes at the Fine Arts Work Center. Students work on their own independent projects and will have 24-hour access to printshop and studio. Bert Yarborough oversees the printshop, but no instruction is provided. No tuition discounts available for open print.

Biography

Bert Yarborough has a degree in Architecture from Clemson University and an MA and MFA in Photography from the University of Iowa.  A former two-year Resident Fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center, he served as Visual Coordinator for four years and is now the Chair of the Visual Committee.  He has received two NH State Arts Council Grants in Painting, and NEA grant in sculpture, a Fulbright Fellowship to Nigeria, and as Visual Arts Residency Fellowship to Civitella Ranieri in Umbria, Italy.
