Summer 2022 COVID Policies and Cancellations/Refunds
Things are evolving on an almost daily basis, and the Fine Arts Work Center will continue to be responsive to changing public health recommendations and protocols in order to keep our community safe.
For Summer 2022, we will require all faculty, staff, and guests over the age of 5 to present proof of vaccination, and for guests 12 and up, proof of vaccine and booster. Additionally, we anticipate that we will require all students, faculty, staff, and guests to wear a mask when indoors—including studios, gallery, bookstore, and common room. The only exceptions to this rule will be for children under 2, and for presenters when they are on stage presenting. We will also require all faculty, students, and guests to sign a waiver at check in.
In the event of cancellation of the in-person Summer 2022 program by either a governing body or the Fine Arts Work Center, every effort will be made to offer you a comparable workshop online (with a full refund for any housing purchases). Otherwise you will be able to defer payment to Summer 2023, or you will be eligible for a full refund.
If you need to cancel your attendance due to a positive COVID test, we will be happy to place you in a session later in the season. Otherwise you will be able to defer payment to Summer 2023 or be eligible for a full refund with proof of a positive test.
If you choose to cancel your attendance for any other reason, our cancellation policy remains as it always has:
If you cancel your workshop three weeks or more before the workshop start date, you will receive a full refund minus a $75 cancellation fee. If you cancel your workshop less than three weeks prior to the workshop start date, you will forfeit your payment in full.
If you would like to cancel your workshop, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: Any request to “switch” or “transfer” from one workshop to another is subject to all the same cancellation policies as listed above.
